Happy Hour Around Greenville

Everyone loves happy hour and the Upstate is becoming a popular spot for families and young professionals. Have you ever wanted a guide to all the best drink deals around town? @GVLHappyHour on Instagram created an amazing chart covering every area around town! Access the entire list to their Ultimate Guide to GVL Happy Hours here! We decided to go through and pick our top places from each area.

Downtown & Surrounding Areas

Charleston Sports Pub– Located near downtown has food and drink specials every day of the week. Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. they have $2 domestic bottles, $3 wells and fireball, $4 house wine and Grand Marnier and up to $7 select apps. Mondays is also ½ off specialty burgers, Tuesdays is $3 tacos, Corona, Milagro, and Espolon and Trivia starting at 7 p.m. Wednesdays is $15 for 20 jumbo wings. Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. they offer $2 mimosas, $4 bloody marys, $10 mimosa carafes and bottomless mimosas.

Husk BBQ– Located near the Greenville Drive, Husk has delicious food and happy hours Tuesday through Friday. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., you can get $1 off bottles and cans of beer, $3 bourbon shots, $4 select drafts, and $5 select wine by the glass and wells.

Southern Culture– Located just past North Main, they offer Happy Hour 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Tuesdays includes ½ off bottles of wine and Saturday and Sunday is $12 bottomless mimosas.

Vault & Vator– You can find this subterranean, speakeasy-style restaurant on Main Street. Their happy hour features $2 off any of their signature cocktails from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. They can even host private cocktail classes for those drinks that you just need to try to recreate.

Velo Fellow– Located just off Falls Park, they have great happy hour specials. From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, you can receive $3 pints and $2 off all apps. Tuesdays is ½ off bottles of wine and Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy $3 mimosas and $5 bloody marys.

Haywood & Pleasantburg Road

Cheesecake Factory– Located near the mall, the Cheesecake Factory has something for everyone. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, you can enjoy $6.95 select cocktails, wells, and house wine, $4.50 drafts, and $3.50 domestic bottles.

City Range– Located right across from the mall, they have the best priced bottomless mimosas in Greenville! Only $9 on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.! They also have great specials throughout the week. Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. you can get $5 house wine and wells, and $1 off domestic beer. Tuesdays is also ½ off bottles of wine.

Local Cue– Located on the other side of 385 from the mall, Local Cue is a fun place to relax, have a drink, and enjoy some extra crispy tater tots. Their happy hour is Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., $1 off all alcohol, $12 Bud buckets, $13 Miller buckets, and $16 Corona or Narragansett buckets. They also offer $10 Mimosa pitchers on Sundays!

White Duck Taco– Both locations (one Located near the West End of Downtown and another Located by the Downtown Airport off Laurens Road) have great happy hours! Sit outside to enjoy a delicious taco and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday you can get $4 drafts and wine, $4.50 wells and $5 margarita.

Wine House– Located on Haywood Road, Wine House is the perfect spot for any wine lover. They offer $2 off wines by the glass from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays.

Woodruff Road & Simpsonville

Firebirds– Located right by Costco on Woodruff Road, Firebirds Woodfire Grill is a delicious place for dinner, but try to catch the early bird specials during their happy hour, Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Their happy hour includes $2 off draft beers, $5 wells, $6 select wine and the Black Diamond Martini, and $7 select cocktails.

Habitap– Located just off Woodruff road, Habitap offers great happy hours every day of the week. Tuesday through Saturday you can enjoy $2 off craft beer, wine, and wells from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturdays and Sundays, you can also get $14 bottomless mimosas.

Stella’s Southern Brasserie– Located right across the street from Legacy Park, Stellas offers a delicious array of food along with these amazing happy hours. Tuesday through Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. they take $1 off house wine and have $5 house liquors.

Unleashed Dog Bar– We cannot leave out our friends with furry friends! Unleashed dog bar is Located off Woodruff Road and offers $10 buckets on Sundays.

Yardhouse– Another great find on Woodruff Road, Yardhouse offers ½ off select apps, ½ off pizzas, $2 off beer, wine, and cocktails, $3 off 9 oz wine and $4 off half yards Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Wednesdays they offer $5 glasses of wine and ½ off select bottles 4 pm to 8 pm.

Pelham Road

Bimini’s– Bimini’s offers $1 off drinks and apps Monday through Sunday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

El Molcajete– Located at the intersection where Pelham ends on East North Street, El Molcajete offers $3.50 small margarita, $3 16 oz draft beer, $5 large margarita and 32oz drafts from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Rigsby’s– Located on S. Batesville Road, Rigsby’s offers happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday with $1 off drafts and wine and $4 wells. On Wednesdays they have $5 glasses of wine and $10 bottles of wine. On Thursdays they have BOGO wings.

Sidewall Pizza– At the newest Sidewall location (along with the other locations in Travelers Rest and Downtown Greenville), their happy hour includes ½ off draft beer Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. along with ½ off bottles of wine on Mondays.

Top Golf– Located where Pelham road and I- 85 intersect, Top Golf offers happy hour specials Monday through Friday 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. They include $5 beers and wells, $6 select cocktails, and $7 select wine.

Taylors & Greer

Blue Ridge Brewing Company– Located on Trade Street in Greer, Blue Ridge Brewing offers happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. It includes $2.75 wells and domestics and $5 craft beer.

Crate Restaurant and Wine Bar– Located near the intersections of S. Main and Poinsett Street, Crate offers ½ priced drinks from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

La Reata– Located on Wade Hampton, La Reata offers happy hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. This includes $1 off drafts and $2 off margarita.

Ollie’s Tavern– Located near Victor Park in Greer, offers happy hour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday with $1 off all drinks.

Sonny’s Grill– Located on South Main Street in Greer, offers happy hour Monday through Sunday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with $2 domestics and $5 signature cocktails.

Travelers Rest

Chicora Alley– With three locations (DT Greenville, TR, and Mauldin Road) all the Chicora Ally happy hours are a bit different, but in Travelers Rest the Chicora Alley offers happy hour from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday- Friday with $1 off drafts and domestic bottles, $5 house wine and second shelf liquors with free chips and salsa.

Community Tap– There are several locations scattered around the Upstate. They have three brick & mortar stores and one food truck that you can track using their Food Truck Calendar. The Travelers Rest location is the newest of the three and you can view their Beer & Wine List here.

El Rancho Grande– Located near Tigerville Road on US-25 in Travelers Rest, El Rancho Grande offers$1 off all drinks Monday through Thursday 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Mojos– Located on US-25, Mojo’s Famous Burgers offers happy hours Monday through Sunday. We’re not certain about the time, so we suggest checking their website out. There is a special every day for a $10 bucket. Mondays also has $4 margarita, Tuesdays has $4 tequila sunrise, Thursdays has $3 Payday and Grape Ape, Fridays has $3 Dingy and Fireball, Saturdays has $5 green tea shots and Sundays has $5 surfer on acids.

Shortfields– Located on Main Street in Travelers Rest, Shortfields offers happy hour Monday through Friday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with $2 domestic drafts, $2.50 domestic bottles, $3 wells and import bottles. Wednesdays is also ½ off bottles of wine.

Topsoil– Located on Main Street in Travelers Rest, Topsoil offers $15 wine tasting from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
